You’ve got a city council and a mayor working hand-in-hand. It is no secret that Atlantic City has gone through some tough times. As a daughter of a small businessman, whose hard work sent me to college, I have a special place in my heart for the contractors, the craftsmen and the shopkeepers who built this city and keep it going. But you and I know it was built by small businesses and the people who work to make it happen here.
This city has its share of big names on big buildings. I’m also grateful to the thousands of workers, who work here to make this city what it is.Ītlantic City is more than a vacation spot.
